Robert C. Bechler
Bechler, Robert C., Jr. (“Mr. Bob”) of Kensington (Phila.), age 85, on November 11, 2025. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Ann (nee Firneis). Devoted father of Katharina Rochon (Dennis), Kelly Murray (Joseph), Megan Bechler (John), and the late Robert W. Bechler.
Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Bob was a veteran and served his country proudly in the United States Navy and the United States Navy Reserve.
He was a machinist at Standard Press Steel Company and when he retired, he went to work in maintenance at Visitation BVM Church, his home parish, where he also served as a Eucharistic Minister.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday, November 21st at 9:30am Visitation BVM Church, “B” and Lehigh, Phila., PA with Mass of Christian Burial 11:00am.
Interment Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations to Visitation BVM Church preferred by family.
